Amira is becoming increasingly responsive and communicative, laughing and focusing on the people around her. Here Serena is reading to her in her playroom. Amira is very comfortable in the bean bag chair.
Tahirih 10th Anniversary Banquet

This week the Tahirih Justice Center held its annual fund raising banquet. This year it was also a celebration of ten years since its founding. The keynote speaker was Senator Jim Webb of Virginia who was introduced by Congressman Jim Moran who has been a long time supporter of the Center. Here are a few photos from the banquet.
